2024 Jeep EV is the only electric model that Jeep has shown in its entirety, which may be given the name “Jeepster.” The yet-to-be-named compact electric SUV will be the first electric Jeep globally, spearheading the brand’s efforts beyond the 4xe plug-in hybrid treatment currently spread across the US product line.
With its chubby-cute styling that looks like a cross between the Renegade and the Compass, it’s clearly aimed at overseas markets.
Given how Americans tend to buy anything with a “Jeep” label, they’ll likely flock to this one as well, while hardcore brand fans will await the electric Wrangler.
Jeep has big plans to rock its lineup in the years to come. While Jeep already offers an electric model with a plug-in hybrid Grand Cherokee 4xe and Wrangler 4xe, the automaker has yet to release an all-electric model.
However, this will soon come at a cost, as Stellantis introduces the Jeep EV, the working name of Jeep’s first all-electric model.
2024 Jeep EV Review
The Jeep EV 2024 is the working name of the off-road brand’s first electric vehicle, and it could arrive as early as next year as the 2024 model.
Along with announcing plans to bring an EV to market, Jeep released images of the upcoming model, which looks similar in size to the Compact Compass. In any case, the rugged design and the new-look seven-slot grille will help make sure everyone knows it’s a Jeep product.
While we know nothing about specs and features, we bet the Jeep EV 2024 will offer a range of around 250 miles and is based on a rear-drive platform that allows an all-wheel drive option.
With Stellantis, Jeep’s parent company, gearing up to release a batch of electric vehicles over the next few years, the automaker says the first all-electric Jeep models will launch in early 2023.
However, we anticipate that it will be referred to as the 2024 model. We also expect the Jeep Wrangler EV to arrive within the next few years.
Jeep EV Specs 2024
Jeep hasn’t revealed many details about the specifications of the Jeep EV 2024. However, given its target release in early 2023, this information will be available soon, along with the debut of the Jeep EV.
Car and Driver speculate that the Jeep EV will provide a driving range of around 250 miles. Also, the Jeep EV will likely offer both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations.

Jeep EV Powertrain
Jeep will switch to the STLA Small Stellantis electric platform for this one; expect dual electric motors to be available (offering all-wheel drive) and styling very close to the yellow concept the automaker has demonstrated.
New Jeep Wrangler EV
For years, people have asked, “When will there be an electric Jeep Wrangler?” Well, we finally got our answer! Soon to be released, Jeep will launch the all-electric 2024 Jeep Wrangler EV with five trim levels: 2024 Jeep Wrangler EV Sport, 2024 Jeep Wrangler EV Freedom, 2024 Jeep Wrangler EV Sahara, 2024 Jeep Wrangler EV Rubicon, and 2024 Jeep Wrangler EV Magneto.
While the Jeep Wrangler has been an American staple for more than 30 years and recently introduced the Jeep Wrangler 4xe plug-in hybrid model, the Jeep Wrangler EV 2024 will be the first Jeep of its kind and will set in motion a new era for Jeep.

Here’s what we currently know about the Jeep Wrangler EV 2024: it’s AWESOME. While the interior of the Jeep Wrangler EV 2024 is expected to be visually similar to the current Wrangler JL Jeep series.
The Jeep Wrangler EV 2024 is likely to feature new technologies, such as a biometric recognition system that may be able to distinguish the physical features of the vehicle owner using features such as facial recognition or fingerprint scanning, to confirm the identity of the driver and lock/unlock the vehicle or start the jeep engine.
There could even be four chassis-mounted battery pack configurations and a feature that would allow two 2024 Jeep Wrangler EVs to charge each other.
In 2021, when Stellantis launches their prototype Jeep Wrangler EV Magneto 2024, the powertrain is said to be capable of 285 horsepower. The cabin will feature all the classic Jeep features, such as removable doors and a removable top. However, until production is complete, information will continue to flow.

2024 Jeep EV Price
Jeep hasn’t said how much its first fully electric model will cost, but we believe the starting price will be several thousand dollars more than the current Compass. We also don’t know yet what the company will officially call the upcoming EV, but we think the trim levels could also reflect what’s on offer in the Compass lineup. Estimated $35,000-$40,000.
