Every spy shot of the upcoming BMW M5 has shown the car covered in camouflage. It’s starting to lose some cover, but the final design remains under wraps.

Luckily, Kolesa.ru has shared a pair of predictive renderings that try to preview the ultimate style of the high-performance sedan.

Camouflage has done a great job hiding the size of the grille, but the rendering envisages a redesigned model with a slightly taller one. It sits above a gaping bottom grille opening that BMW can no longer hide.

A pair of triangular intakes flank it, pushed into the outer corners of the bumper.

A sneak peek of the M5’s rear hasn’t revealed much styling yet, but the renderings envision a sedan with slim, slim taillights, a sporty bumper, and a menacing diffuser housing the quad exhaust tips.

The renders even depict the car’s charging port on the front fender as this new M5 will be a hybrid.

You’d better get used to seeing an M prototype with a sticker that says “hybrid test vehicle” as the M2 G87 debuting in October will be Bavaria’s last performance model to ditch electrification.
